The basil(in the photo) and all my herb garden are so lush. I had to save and savor it.
The morning glories are, well, self explanatory.
The little flowers were speaking to me as I stretched to photograph the morning glories!
All these photos are taken with my iphone, a device I dearly love.
Today I am going to look for a little camera.
I want night photos and my trusty iphone just doesn't see well at night.

last night we paid our initial visit to macca. the new restaurant had advertised in the courier-journal saturday and live music was billed after 7. we headed to the new westport village around 630 to try the new spot. we were seated immediately, but after 9 minutes of waiting, i decided to go to the bar to get drinks. after waiting there, i got waited on after 6 minutes. the mojitos (one pineapple and one mango) were not good. they tasted like shots. when i returned to the table i was informed no one had taken any orders yet. i did not set down, but went to find the manager. i did so, told her of the problem, and she put our orders in and said she would take care of them.
when the seafood fondue($9.95) arrived with colored chips, we were excited (because we were very hungry). the flavor was there, but the consistency was just too runny. it was hard to transfer a bight from the bowl to our mouths. the pork sliders were four small fresh buns with shredded pork that was flavorful. a little sauce could have made up for the pork being on the dry side. as the music played on a list of '70's music, the outside area remained very busy.
when our entrees arrived, my everglades bucket looked good. the tartar sauce was left off, but was quickly retreived by a busser. the crab cakes were not bad, but the color of the meat made me wonder if it was imitation. the gator tail was excellent, lightly breaded and flavorful. the fried clams were mediocre. my dining partner had the salmon, and it was up to par.
after dinner, our bill came and the appetizers were on it. the manager removed one, but not the promised other. i tried to be very nice in the hole process, and she perhaps translated this into weakness. a pity. i will not return to this establishment.
